Striker, Luke Rawson is Chesterfield through and through, owing to his father being a fan who regularly took him to games as a youngster.
Rawson said his favourite player growing up was Jack Lester, describing him as a “composed finisher and a great player to watch.”
Possessing great work rate as well as an eye for goal, Rawson hit the headlines as a 15-year-old by scoring for the reserves in their match with Mansfield Town at the Proact last season.
Rawson has continued where he left off during his first season as a scholar, scoring 14 goals before Christmas, including a hat trick in the match with Rotherham United in September.
He made his first team debut in the final match of the 2017/18 season at Barnet.
