Conor Fowler

Fowler didn't start playing football until he was 14, however, the defender now finds himself in his second year with the Chesterfield academy.

He gave up Gaelic football to play for Belvedere in his home country, before playing in the Airtricity League for St Patricks. It was from there that a move to the Spireites occurred.

The defender was spotted by academy coach Darren Molloy when playing in Ireland and now a year on from that, he is hoping to earn his competitive first team call up and professional contract.

Fowler has already gained experience of first team football, having featured in pre-season ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
