Spireites goalkeeper Jones, has been with the club since the age of 16, after a successful trial.

Prior to signing for the Spireites, Jones had spent five years with Nottingham Forest.

A second-year scholar, Jones describes himself as a modern day 'keeper who is comfortable playing out from the back.

Following a number of good performances during the latter half of the 2016/17 campaign, Jones has now established himself as the youth team's number one.

Despite not having yet made a first team appearance, Jones appeared as an unused substitute in the home match with Accrington Stanley on September 16.
