Date of birth

The striker started his career at North Village Rams in his native Bermuda before travelling to London for a trial with West Ham United.

After failing to obtain a contract with the Hammers he signed for non-league Newcastle Town in 2013.

He would spend one season in Staffordshire before joining Northern Premier League club Ilkeston in summer of 2014, where he made a total of 31 appearances in all competitions scoring 4 goals.

Towards the end of the 2014/15 season Simons started to get noticed by Football League clubs and signed for the Spireites in April 2015.

Simons scored his first Spireites goal in October 2015, in a 3-1 win over Gillingham, and followed that up with four further goals, which included a brace in the 7-1 over Shrewsbury Town in January 2016.

Simons represented his country at U17 and U20 level, before making his debut for the senior side in 2015 against Grenada, where he was among the goal scorers in a 2-2 draw.
