Capable of playing at either right back or as a centre half, Scott Wiseman joined the Spireites in May 2017, following his release by Scunthorpe United.

Wiseman's carrer started off at Hull City, making his debut against Kidderminster Harriers in April 2004.

The defender would go on to make 16 appearances in total during a four year stay in Humberside. During his time with the Tigers he enjoyed loan spells with Boston United, Rotherham United and Darlington - who he would go on to join in the summer of 2007.

After one season with Darlington, Wiseman joined Rochdale helping 'Dale gain promotion to League One in the 2009/10 campaign, during his time at Spotland Wiseman would make over 100 appearances.

Wiseman followed manager Keith Hill and team mate Matt Done to Barnsley in June 2011. In a three-year spell at Oakwell he would make 102 appearances, scoring once.

He joined Preston North End in 2014 and helped them gain promotion to the Championship in his sole season at Deepdale. Wiseman then went on to sign for Scunthorpe United before making the move to the Proact.

A one-time England U20 international, Wiseman is has received full international recognition for Gibraltar who he first played for in 2013.
