Sheffield-born midfielder Jack Holmes joined the club in December 2016, following his release at Sheffield United.
Originally an attacking midfielder, Holmes has now established himself in Miguel Llera's team as a defensive midfielder.
He even appeared as a substitute in the first team's pre-season friendlies with Matlock Town and Buxton last July. Holmes was also a substitute in the final home game of the season against Newport County.
