Confirmation that the planned event to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the play-off victory over Bury, scheduled to take place on May 27, has had to be postponed due to the pandemic.
There are plans to stage the event in 12 months' time, with funds being raised for Lymphoma Action.
Former Spireites striker Tony Lormor, who scored in the final at Wembley and is one of the organisers of the event, said: "With the ongoing circumstances, we have to adhere to government guidelines and there are more pressing issues to deal with at the moment.
"The plan is to run it next year, on the same date, if possible. In the meantime, please stay safe and well."
Any tickets booked for the original date will be valid for the rearranged event. A refund can be arranged for anyone who has booked who will be unable to attend on the new date.
