The stadium and the training ground have both been closed to the public and staff until further notice following the latest government update amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The stadium was closed to the public earlier this week with events also postponed.
The players and management staff were due to return to training next week after staying away this week but they are now being told to keep away until further notice. The players have been given personal training programmes to follow in the meantime.
Thankfully, it has been confirmed that no player or member of staff has symptoms associated with COVID-19.
Spire Lotto members are reminded that the weekly draw has been suspended until May 4. Any payments already made for future Spire Lotto draws will be frozen, keeping the members in question in credit. Also, no new payments made by standing order will be processed while Spire Lotto is suspended.
While the stadium is closed, any conference & banqueting enquiries should be made by emailing email@example.com or phoning 01246 269300 (ext 4162). Football-related matters should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Supporters will be updated on any significant developments at the appropriate time, with any relevant information made available via the club's website and social meda channels.
Pubs, restaurants and gyms are to close tonight and people are urged to heed the advice to reduce social interaction in order to reduce the risk of spreading infection. Information relating to coronavirus can be found here.
