In the light of government advice regarding non-essential social contact amid the coronavirus outbreak, the decision has been taken to close the front part of the stadium and suspend all conference & banqueting events up to and including Friday, March 27.
The players and football management team will also stay away from the stadium for the remainder of this week and next week.
While the stadium is closed, any conference & banqueting enquiries should be made by emailing email@example.com or phoning 01246 269300 (ext 4162). Football-related matters should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Any payments to the club must be made by debit/credit card or bank transfer until further notice with no cash payments accepted.
Spire Lotto has been suspended until May 4 so that agents are not put at risk by visiting members to collect their subscriptions.
Please note that any payments made prior to today for future Spire Lotto draws will be frozen, keeping the members in question in credit. Also, no new payments made by standing order will be processed while Spire Lotto is suspended.
Company secretary Ashley Carson said: “We have been proactive and made these decisions to safeguard the health of everyone associated with the club, which has to be our absolute priority, as I am sure people will appreciate.
“It should be stressed that these are precautionary measures only as no player, member of the management team or member of staff at the club has any symptoms associated with COVID-19."
Fans are reminded that the National League competition has been suspended until at least April 3.
