Tommy Charlton was a popular guest at today's Senior Spireites lunch, which was attended by around 120 people.
Before the meal was served, a minute's silence was observed in memory of former player Jordan Sinnott, who passed away at the weekend.
After lunch, Tommy, brother of England World Cup heroes Jack and Sir Bobby, recounted time spent in Chesterfield during his childhood when his uncles - Stan Milburn and George Milburn - had spells with the Spireites.
He also talked about his legendary siblings and discussed his interest in walking football which has seen him become actively involved in the sport and act as ambassador for the Walking Football Association.
The next Senior Spireites lunch will see former Spireites striker Andy Morris in attendance as the special guest.
The cost of attending is just £13.95, which includes a superb two-course meal.
To book, please call in at the stadium reception during office hours.
