Team News:

Caretaker manager John Pemberton revealed that Josef Yarney could be out after picking up an injury last time out against Solihull Moors. Pemberton also confirmed that Anthony Gerrard could make a return after recovering from a hamstring strain.

Manager: Matt Gray

Gray started his playing career with Tottenham Hotspur and moved on to play for Cardiff City, Hayes and Havant & Waterlooville before retiring early through injury.

He gained his badges and opened up his own sport coaching business prior to his professional coaching career lifting off.

The former Spurs player had spells as assistant manager with League Two sides Aldershot Town and Crawley Town.

He was also second in command at Eastleigh in the National League before leaving to join Paul Doswell at Sutton United in December 2018.

Following the shock departure of Doswell, Gray was appointed as Sutton manager in May of this year.

Sutton are currently in a good run of form and sit in 12th position in the National League.

One to Watch – Harry Beautyman

Beautyman signed his first professional contract for Leyton Orient in 2009 after a spell in their youth ranks. He spent two years with the O’s, which included loan spells at St Albans City and Hastings United.

He left Brisbane Road in 2011 to join Sutton United, where he scored 21 times in 81 games before a move to Welling United.

He was soon getting the attention of Football League clubs and joined Peterborough United in 2015.

Spells at Northampton Town and Stevenage followed where the midfielder struggled to make an impact.

Beautyman re-joined Sutton in January 2018 under the leadership of Paul Doswell and helped the U’s to a ninth-placed finish, nine points off Eastleigh.

He has found the form that saw him flourish at Gander Green Lane in his first spell and the 27-year-old is a key source for Sutton’s goals this season.

Head to head:

Saturday’s fixture will mark just the fourth time these two sides have ever faced off.

The last time both sides battled it out at the Proact, the Spireites came out on top with a 3-0 win in front of the BT Sports cameras in March. A Scott Boden goal in the middle of a Tom Denton brace was enough for the three points.

From the dugout:

Caretaker manager John Pemberton: "I'm hoping that our supporters will create a good atmosphere tomorrow and moving forward. We need everybody on board. They really gave me some support the last time I was here and I'd like more of the same.”
