After a three-week break with no games due to the adverse weather conditions, Chesterfield FC Women will be looking to progress in the League Cup this Sunday when they face a Woodlands side from the league above.

It is the first time competing in the East Midlands Women’s Regional League Cup for the Spireites and captain Robyn Henton said: “To reach this stage of the competition is a good achievement considering it consists of teams in our league and the league above, but we’re not satisfied with that - we’re looking to go and win the game and progress even further.”

The match, which kicks off at 2.30pm, is at Shirebrook Academy and it is free admission for all.
