Spire Lotto payments

3 April 2020

It has come to our attention that some Spire Lotto members have not cancelled their standing order payments while the lottery has been temporarily suspended.

The suspension is due to the fact that a large proportion of members pay weekly, with the money collected by agents “door to door”.

Due to the requirement for social distancing, it is not possible for agents to collect payments by this method, which is currently being reviewed for the future.

Other members who pay by either direct debit or standing order should note the following information:

The direct debits have been suspended and the club is not drawing the money down. However, those who have not cancelled their standing orders will still be paying into the club. Anyone who has opted for this method is reminded to cancel or suspend the standing order as this is beyond the club's control.

For those who have over-paid, the club will make a full refund in the form of a credit to spend within the football club, once the stadium is open again or when the fixture programme is resurrected.
