Comprehensive Cup Win

Chesterfield FC Women recorded a comprehensive 12-0 victory over Lutterworth Athletic in the FA Cup preliminary qualifying round on Sunday.

The Spireites took the lead after 25 minutes with Ami Buzzeo showing composure and skill in the area to beat two defenders before slotting the ball past the keeper. 

Chesterfield doubled their lead when a great ball through from Sammy Stokes to Gina Camfield (33) was casually slotted Into the bottom left corner of the net.

Robyn Henton (34) added a third from a free-kick and Camfield scored again before the break, finding the net from close range. 

The Spireites made it five on the hour-mark when Paige Singleton lobbed the substitute Lutterworth keeper from far out.

Substitute Beth Smyth marked her debut with a goal, smashing the ball home from close range.

Camfield completed her hat-trick, placing the ball into the bottom right corner from just outside the area and she scored again to make it 8-0 following a defensive error.

Further goals from Camfield and Izzy Lonsdale saw the Spireites notch up double figures with ten minutes remaining.

Camfield bagged her sixth goal of the game before Izzy Lonsdale rounded off the scoring with a close-range effort.
