Following his match-winning performance as the Spireites beat Notts County 1-0, Gevaro expressed his delight with the goal and the win in front of the BT Sport cameras.
“It’s amazing to score my first goal and it’s three wins in a row now so it’s good. It’s a good way to keep going forward,” Gevaro said.
“When I saw Scott turning, I was sure he would cross it to the second post. So, I was running with great speed to reach it.
“It feels good. You want to win every game so if you can win against a rival its amazing. It’s a good weekend.”
The goal was Gevaro’s first for Chesterfield since arriving on loan last month and the winger is hoping that he can provide a few more whilst at the Proact Stadium.
Gevaro said: “I feel like every game I can do something and bring more for the team. I’m a winger, I’m an attacking player. I will help the team with whatever I can do.
“If I need to defend, I will defend for the team. If I can cross, I will cross. If I need to make a goal, I will try to do it.”
The Oldham Athletic loanee has linked up with Jay Sheridan on the left-hand side in the last few games and talked about the chemistry that is building between them.
“We have a connection because we have played with each other before. It’s getting better and better and we know what we want from each other,” he said.
Gevaro also talked about the run of the results that the Spireites are on, stating: “I think a few weeks ago I said that I have a lot of confidence in the team and that we were going to get out of the time we were losing.
“Now we are getting out of it and winning games.”
