Fans are being encouraged to join in with a round of applause after 70 minutes in Saturday's game against Notts County to mark the 70th birthday of Spireites legend Ernie Moss.
Ernie celebrated his 70th birthday last Saturday, but he was unfortunately unable to attend the FA Cup tie against Wrexham.
He will, however, be attending the Notts County match with members of his family.
An image of Ernie will be shown on the big screen after 70 minutes and there will also be a photo of the former prolific former striker on the cover of the programme.
A limited edition commemorative team sheet featuring images of Ernie will also be printed. They will be sold for 50p, with all of the proceeds going to Dementia UK.
Ernie, who scored a club record 191 goals over three spells with Chesterfield, is sadly battling a form of dementia.
