The Spireites youth team will be looking to progress in the FA Youth Cup on Friday evening when they travel to the West Midlands to face their counterparts from Romulus FC.

The two teams compete in a qualifying tie which kicks off at 7.45pm.

The young Spireites go into the game on the back of a 2-1 victory over Burton Albion at St George's Park on Tuesday.

Coach Neil Cluxton said: "We're under no illuisions about the threat they'll pose.

"Like any team at this stage of the competition, they'll be wanting to get a bit of a scalp and face a league club in the next round."

Chesterfield could be boosted by the return of second-year scholar Brandon Bradbury.

The midfielder, who has been injured so far this season, could be included among the substitutes.

Admission to the game will cost £3 for adults and £1 for concessions. If you're planning to attend, the address is Romulus FC, Castle View Stadium, Farnborough Road, Birmingham, B35 7LQ.
