Michael Noon, manager of Chesterfield FC Women, is looking forward to Sunday's opening league match at the Proact for his side.
The Spireites take on Lincoln Moorlands-Railway in a game which kicks off at 2pm and Noon is hoping for plenty of support from the local community.
He said: "We have received a lot of support from the club since agreeing an official association and I would encourage as many fans as possible to watch us.
"They're a good group of players and hopefully they'll put on a good performance and encourage Spireites fans to adopt us as their second team.
"We are pushing ourselves to get as high as we possibly can and there is an exciting future in store."
Noon revealed that two players from the reserves have been promoted to the first-team set-up this week and will be involved in the matchday squad on Sunday.
"Rachael Kelly and Courtney Caunt are both aged 16 and it will be a great experience for them to be involved," he said. "We are keen to provide a pathway for youngsters and this shows that there are opportunities for those who impress."
Season ticket holders are eligible for free admission to the match. Admission for non-season ticket holders will cost just £3 for adults and £1 for Under-16s. The concourses will open an hour before kick-off.
Around 50 youngsters from the local community - some of whom are involved with the club - will be involved on the day as mascots and flag bearers.
