New signing Liam Shaw is eager to make an impact during his month on loan with the Spireites.
Speaking to Spireites Digital, the 18-year-old midfielder outlined his aims, saying: "Hopefully I'll get a chance here to express myself and show my worth, my qualities and hopefully perform well for the team and the fans."
Describing himself as a "box-to-box midfielder", Shaw is pleased to have joined a club close to home. He said: "It's a perfect loan because it's 25/30 minutes in the car so I can just live at home and travel so it's pretty much ideal. I'm excited to be here."
Manager John Sheridan and his assistant, Glynn Snodin have urged Shaw to play without fear. "They said, 'Don't be afraid - just express youself and show us what you can do. Give it all you have got and don't have any regrets'," the youngster revealed.
