The Armistice Day ceremony being held in the Memorial Garden at the Proact on Monday is open for anyone to attend.
Held to remember the 17 players and officials from Chesterfield FC who lost their lives in the wars of the last century, the event will commence at 1.30pm.
The 15 players, manager and director who made the ultimate sacrifice will be remembered by staff from the Community Trust and the club, including the players. Partner organisations will also be in attendance.
This year marks the centenary of the death of Lt Vernon Bowmer MC, the last player who died of injuries from the First World War. It is also 75 years since Sgt Fred Fisher, who also played for England, died when his plane crashed in France.
