A reminder that walking football's first-ever FIWFA European Nations Cup will take place at the Proact on Sunday, featuring England, Italy and Wales.
Starting at 10am, the tournament will see Over-50s and Over-60s teams from all three nations play in a series of 50-minute matches over the course of the day. A presentation ceremony will take place at the end of the afternoon.
Walking Football Association chief executive Paul Carr said: "It is a great opportunity for the people of Chesterfield and the surrounding areas to watch a groundbreaking international tournament.
"We chose the Proact Stadium as Chesterfield is the home of walking football after being invented by John Croot, CEO of Chesterfield FC Community Trust. The teams have been chosen following a rigorous selection process and it promises to be a memorable occasion for everyone taking part."
Tickets for the tournament, priced at just £10, are available now, via the following link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/fiwfa-european-nations-cup-tickets-62390760444
