A young Spireites line-up took the lead at Sheffield FC before slipping to a narrow 2-1 defeat.
The side included on-trial pair Jake Bennett and Sam Scrivens.
Charlie Wakefield had a shot blocked and Jack McKay was the first to pose a serious threat, testing Dylan Parkin with a rasping shot from the edge of area which forced a fine save from the former Spireite.
Luke Rawson almost found a way through on the break - a defender just getting back in time to intercept the ball.
McKay produced a fine finish to open the scoring around with around half-an-hour gone, curling the ball beyond Parkin’s dive.
The hosts levelled just a few minutes later, Michael Williams scoring from the penalty spot following a foul inside the area.
Alex Render saw his header saved towards the end of the half.
Soon after the re-start, Amantchi fired in a long-range shot which was saved by Parkin down to his right.
Grayson scored what proved to be the winner for the home side following a corner.
Rawson was unlucky not to level when his volley struck the woodwork.
Parkin came to the home side’s rescue with a good save from Scrivens’ firm header and he also did well to keep out a long-range effort from Jack Holmes.
