The Spireites will welcome Premier League newcomers Sheffield United on Tuesday night (7.30pm) for the second of three home pre-season fixtures.
John Sheridan may look to rotate his squad following Saturday's game against Rotherham United.
The Blades have been splashing the cash so far this summer breaking their record transfer fee paid on three ocasions with the signings of Luke Freeman, Callum Robinson and Lys Mousset.
Freeman signed from Queens Park Rangers for a reported £5m, whilst Robinson made the switch from Preston to Bramall Lane for a believed fee of £7m. That was followed by a reported £10m swoop to sign Mousset from Bournemouth over the weekend.
United have also dipped into the free transfer market to re-sign Phil Jagielka, who returned to the club after leaving for Everton 12 years ago.
Ravel Morrison may appear for the first time in a red and white shirt since joining the club on a free transfer after the former West Ham United midfielder was released by Lazio.
Portugal was the destination of choice for Sheffield United as they began pre-season and in that time they played against La Liga side Real Betis, defeating them 1-0 with a goal from David McGoldrick.
After rounding off their pre-season trip to Portugal, United came back to play Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium.
The hosts grabbed a 2-1 victory with a last-minute winner after Billy Sharp opened the scoring.
Most recently the Blades travelled to Northampton Town and secured a 2-0 victory.
After the Spireites take on Sheffield United, they will play one final pre-season friendly at the Proact Stadium, taking on Burton on Saturday.
