Mind Body Spirit Martial Arts - based in the HUB at the Proact - have delivered their first defibrillator to a local school as part of their Defibrillators for Schools project.
In April, Mind Body Spirit owner Mike Holden climbed Ben Nevis with his friend and colleague from the British Ju-Jitsu Association Governing Body, Ian Arbon, raising over £1,600 for the project.
The first defibrillator was recently presented to Newbold Church School and Mike gave the students a background to the fundraising. He said: "I explained why we feel it is important to provide schools with defibrillators and then showed pictures of our Ben Nevis trip.
"I would urge any local school who would be interested in a future donation to please get in touch."
