The celebration evening in the Chesterfield FC Memorial Garden will take place on the eve of the new season.
This annual event is staged to remember players, officials and fans who have died since the start of last season.
This year, two new memorials will be unveiled in the Memorial Garden. Spireites legend Kevin Randall will be added to the Wall of Fame, where those who played more than 250 league games for the club are remembered.
A special plaque will also be placed on the rear wall to mark the passing of football icon Gordon Banks OBE who, of course, started his professional career at Chesterfield.
Kevin's family will be represented at the event and it is hoped that members of Gordon's family will also be able to attend.
Everyone is welcome to attend the celebration which starts at 6.30pm on Friday, August 2. If you know of fans or anyone associated with the club who we have lost since last August, please let Peter Whiteley know at Chesterfield FC Community Trust. His email address is email@example.com.
