John Sheridan has confirmed that Josef Yarney has trained but will not feature against Torquay United.
The Spireites manager has also confirmed that Jermaine McGlashan and Liam Shaw will return to their parent clubs after the expiration of their loan spells.
Manager: Gary Johnson
Johnson started his career at Watford as an apprentice and turned professional with the Hornets before moving to Swedish side Malmo FF.
After returning to England, he played part-time football for Soham Town Rangers, Newmarket Town and Cambridge United prior to hanging up his boots.
The former midfielder spent the next six years training to get his coaching badges before returning to Newmarket Town in 1986 as manager.
He joined Cambridge United after two years with the Jockeys and became manager 1993 following a spell as caretaker.
Johnson left Cambridge and joined Kettering Town, introducing full-time football to the club for the first time. He also had a two-year spell as manager of the Latvia national football team.
The father of former Spireites loanee Lee Johnson had successful spells with Yeovil Town and Bristol City, winning promotion and also trophies along the way. He famously helped the Glovers to the Championship for the first time in their history.
After leaving Cheltenham Town in 2018, Johnson joined Torquay United an helped them to the National League South title in his first season.
He signed a new contract with the club in July 2019 and currently has the Gulls sitting in 11th place in the National League, just four points off the play-offs.
One to Watch – Jamie Reid
Reid began his professional career with Exeter City in 2012 after graduating from their youth team. He made his debut for the Grecians on Boxing Day on the same year at home against Oxford United.
In July 2012, he was sent out on loan to Conference South side Dorchester Town and scored three goals in eight games.
The forward played twice for the Northern Ireland under-21s in 2013 but failed to score in either appearance.
His first loan spell at Torquay United in 2015 spending a month with the National League outfit before joining Truro City on loan later that year.
Reid joined Torquay once more on loan a year later and spent most of the 2016/17 season at Plainmoor.
A permanent move followed at the end of the season and helped the side to promotion from the National League South in April 2019, scoring 32 goals in the process.
He has carried on the same form this season currently sitting joint-top of the scoring charts with 15 goals in 23 appearances.

Saturday’s game at Plainmoor will be the 43rd meeting between Chesterfield and Torquay United.
The Spireites secured their first win of the season in the last fixture between the two sides when Scott Boden’s 12th minute strike was enough for a 1-0 win at the Proact Stadium.
