John Sheridan is expected to make changes to his starting XI following Friday's defeat at Gateshead. The Spireites boss has indicated that Curtis Weston, Josef Yarney and Joe Rowley will be involved.
The Manager: Luke Garrard
Starting as a trainee at Tottenham Hotspur, Garrard went on to make his professional debut for Swindon Town in 2003. His playing career also saw him feature for Bishop’s Stortford, Northwood, AFC Wimbledon and Boreham Wood.
Garrard had two spells at Boreham Wood, making over 100 appearances before taking over as manager in October 2015, making him the youngest manager inside England’s top five leagues at the age of 33.
He led the Wood to an FA Cup second round appearance last season as well as a play-off spot, where they lost against Tranmere Rovers in the final.
Garrard’s side are safe and will be looking to finish the season strongly.
One-to-watch – Justin Shaibu
Shaibu began his career at HB Køge where he was named '2014 Talent of the Year' in his debut season. The striker has been capped for Denmark at youth level from under-17s up to under-20s.
He earned a move to Brentford in 2016 but hasn’t featured for the Bees much due to loan spells at Walsall and his current team Boreham Wood.
The 21-year-old has scored eight goals this season and is Gateshead’s top goal scorer behind the departed and now Chesterfield striker Scott Boden.
His strength and power will be a danger for Chesterfield and is something the Spireites must keep in control.
Head to head
The Spireities have only played Boreham Wood once in their history, which was the 1-0 defeat back in September, Jamal Fyfield getting the only goal. Chesterfield will be looking to avenge that result and finish their home campaign on a high note.
From the dugout
John Sheridan said: "We didn't get going against Gateshead and I'm disappointed because I wanted to finish the season strongy. I want to win every game because I don't like losing."
