Looking ahead to Saturday's trip to Havant & Waterlooville, assistant-manager Glynn Snodin played down the significance of the fact that Chesterfield will be up against a team just five points below them.
Snodin said: "It's another game. We just think about being positve and going to win it, no matter who it is.
"It doesn't matter who we're playing on Saturday. We'll just take it like we have done any other game since we've been here and put a team out there to go and get the three points.
"We just want to go and try and win as many games as we can. We want to push on and get as high up that league as we can."
Snodin confirmed that there are no fresh injury problems to contend with, saying that there is a strong squad to choose from.
