John Sheridan has revealed that Alex Kiwomya and Bradley Barry are set to return to the squad for Saturday's game at Aldershot Town after recovering from injury.
Sheridan, who takes charge of his first league game since returning to the club, said: "They both trained well this morning and they'll be in the squad."
Commenting on Kiwomya's return, Sheridan said: "He is quick and direct and he's got a goal in him. We need people like that."
Together with Glynn Snodin, Sheridan has been working with the players in training on how he wants the team to play.
He said: "I've seen good things in the game last week and I've seen good things in training. They're responding to the way I want to work. It's a quick fix, so we need to hit the ground running.
"I want us to be attack-minded, at the same time switched on defensively. We need to create more chances and work the keeper."
Sheridan confirmed that offers have been made for two players - a striker and a defender - who both want to join the club.
"It's just getting it over the line and sometimes you have to bide your time," he said.
"They're both in the process of trying to get out of their club and I'm waiting for them to come back to me.
"They are two good players who know me and the way I work. They would both be very good additions."
