The youth team suffered a narrow defeat at Rotherham United last weekend, taking a 2-1 lead before losing 3-2.
Rotherham took the lead before some good play from Brandon Bradbury and Chad Gibson, who delivered a low driven cross, led to an own-goal which made it all-square.
Levi Amantchi then took on two or three players before producing a good finish from the edge of the area to put the young Spireites ahead.
The hosts then hit back with two goals to claim the victory.
Coach Darren Molloy said: “We got dragged into a battle and didn’t really get our own way of playing going. They were quite physical and direct.
“We tried to play them at their game and came up short. We didn’t move the ball quick enough.
“We have a weekend off this week so we’ll do some 11v11 work. We’ll be getting ready to play Oldham on Saturday, March 2.”
