There are plans to reward supporters who regularly travel to away matches by giving them priority when demand is high for match tickets.
Chief executive Graham Bean said: “There are some fans who travel all over the country to support the team and it is only fair that they are given priority, after season ticket holders, when tickets are in short supply.
"I would therefore urge supporters who travel to away games to keep their ticket stubs as proof of their attendance.
"This may be a system we will introduce as a qualifying selling tier before any tickets are made available on general sale, in the case of all-ticket games which are in high demand."
Supporters should start retaining tickets under this system, with effect from the game against Gateshead on Good Friday.
