Supporters should note that various options have been explored following the news that Zebra Finance are unable to provide season ticket finance for the 2019/20 campaign.
Unfortunately, it has been discovered that alternative finance packages put to the club would not be beneficial to the club or the supporters. Regrettably, the club will therefore be unable to offer a season ticket finance package.
Chief executive Graham Bean has, however, agreed to introduce a deposit scheme to help spread the cost of payment, following a meeting with supporters.
Explaining the initiative, Graham said: “I was asked when I attended the Spireites Speakeasy meeting on Friday whether it would be possible to pay an initial amount towards the cost of a season ticket ahead of the balance being paid before the start of the new season.
“Having considered this, I have put together a scheme which would allow anyone who has had a Zebra Finance deal in place this season to pay a £50 deposit for a season ticket by June 28, with the balance to be paid by August 1, ensuring they benefit from the ‘early bird’ discount.
“It is appreciated that the cost of paying for a season ticket in one go may be a problem for some fans so we hope that this gesture will help them."
