The Spireites youth team fought out a goal-less draw with Morecambe in an EFL Youth Alliance Cup tie on Saturday.
Coach Miguel Llera was pleased overall with his team's performance. He said: "In general terms, I was pretty happy because it was a really tough game. It was raining and the pitch was muddy, so the conditions were difficult.
"They played very direct and it was very scrappy. The players had to adapt to the conditions and I thought they did really well.
"Jamie Sharman suffered a head injury in the first 15 minutes and had to come off, which was a pity. Jared (Wild) did really well after coming on.
"We kept another clean sheet so that's now four in the last five games."
