There are a few spaces left for the official launch of Tommy Lee's TestimoniALE at Brampton Brewery on Saturday, May 12 (7.30pm) and to ensure you are there, you need to book before close of play on Wednesday, May 9.
Tommy, 32, was forced to retire with a shoulder injury earlier this season, his 10th at Chesterfield FC, and the first event organised as part of his testimonial, a dinner in July, sold out in rapid time.
The new beer, a pale session ale, will be called TestimoniALE 373, the number representing the amount of first team appearances Lee made for Chesterfield and to mark this, the beer is being brewed at a strength of 3.73%.
It will be launched at Brampton Brewery on Chatsworth Road at a ticket only event. The cost of attending the launch is £15 (over 18’s only) and the price includes a pie & pea supper, your first pint of TestimoniALE 373 pulled for you by Tommy, an up close and personal question & answer session plus a quiz about the man himself.
Tommy said; “I can’t wait, it’ll seem strange drinking a pint of beer that’s been brewed specially to mark my testimonial. It’s one of the few benefits of not playing any more that I will be able to sample it properly! Thanks to Chris Radford of Brampton Brewery for agreeing to this and hosting the launch event and I’m looking forward to hearing what the drinkers of Chesterfield think of it.”
Tickets are available only via the testimonial website, www.TLtestimonial.com so don’t miss out on what is sure to be a popular night.
