Chesterfield's U16s take on their Derby County counterparts, in the J&S Trophies Floodlit Cup final, at the Proact tonight, 7pm.
Darren Molloy's side have been in impressive form in the competition, having finished as group winners, following a home win over the Rams and home and away victories over Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday.
The final promises to be an exciting one, with several of next season's academy scholars taking part for the Spireites.
Speaking about the match, Molloy said: "It'll be brilliant for the lads to play on the pitch, they’ve worked incredibly hard to get a scholarship and now to play in a final after coming up against category one and two teams.
"We played those teams home and away, with the top two qualifying for the final, we finished top of the group and Derby finished runners-up, so it’ll be a good test.
"Everyone in the team is an exciting watch and a really good player for their own reasons, it’ll be nice for supporters to be able to put faces to names."
Admission to the match is priced at £2 adults and £1 juniors. There'll also be a souvenir matchday programme, priced at 50p, this has kindly been supplied by Print Digital Media.
