A collection will be made at the game at home to Notts County later this month to raise funds for St John Ambulance and The Air Ambulance Service.
Both organisations received deserved praise following Saturday's game at home to Lincoln City when a season ticket holder in the East Stand required urgent medical attention.
The match was halted for around half an hour to allow an air ambulance to land on the pitch and take the gentleman to hospital in Derby.
In recognition of the contribution made by the two organisations, club chiefs immediately agreed to arrange a joint matchday collection.
The Chesterfield FC Community Trust will organise the collection at the Notts County match, which is being televised live on Sky Sports on Sunday, March 25 (1.30pm).
Thanks go to Teenage Cancer Trust and Print Digital Media for their help and co-operation in allowing the collection to take place.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson from The Air Ambulance Service contacted the club via email today to say: "On behalf of our team and crew I would like to say a big THANK YOU for your help with facilitating the landing of our Helimed aircraft on Saturday.
"Your staff were extremely helpful and efficient with helping us provide the quickest and best treatment to the patient that we could."
