Chesterfield have signed Millwall central defender Sid Nelson on loan until the end of the season.
After putting pen to paper, Nelson said: "It's a pleasure to be here. I know this is a big club for this division and we're in a position we shouldn't be at the moment.
"I am someone who gives 100 per cent, week in, week out and I want to try and help get the team moving up the table."
Manager Jack Lester commented: "He's a very aggressive player who is a leader for a young lad. He comes very highly recommended by Millwall manager Neil Harris and he's an important signing for us."
Nelson has just completed a loan spell at Yeovil Town, making 14 appearance for them. The 22-year-old came through the ranks at Millwall and has made 38 appearances for the Championship club. He ended last season on loan at Newport County.
