New chief executive Graham Bean is keen to meet supporters and listen to their concerns to help him determine how matters at the club can be improved.
Speaking to Spireites Digital, Graham said: "It's always important for a club to have a strong relationship with their supporters and it is important that the supporters stick with Chesterfield at this difficult time.
"I recognise that supporters have issues with the club and with the ownership of the club. One of my goals is to bring together a much more harmonious relationship and look at ways in which things can be improved.
"I've already been in touch with individuals who have been at the forefront of campaigns and fans' representation. I will be meeting them later this week and I think it's a case of listening to what they have to say and what the real issues are that they see.
"In the first few weeks, it'll be a fact-finding period so that I can consider it all and look at the best ways we can move forward together."
