Martin Allen has delivered a video message to the supporters ahead of Sunday's FA Cup tie against Grimsby Town (2pm).

The FREEVIEW Spireites Digital video, which also includes highlights from Chesterfield's previous FA Cup matches this season and a look back at the 1997 FA Cup semi-final, is available here.

Talking to the media in the build-up to the match, Martin said: "It's a great occasion to be taking part in the FA Cup and for some of these players, it's the first time they'll be playing in the second round.

"Everyone has got to get behind the team and give them their full support and backing.

"We need some help from the supporters and we'll turn the corner, without a shadow of doubt."

Martin revealed that Will Evans will face a fitness test. On Zavon Hines, who didn't train on Thursday, he said: "We'll see how he is."

Martin added that Jerome Binnom-Williams, who was a late withdrawal from the team for Tuesday night's game at home to Bromley, trained on Thursday. "He's fine," said the Spireites boss.
