The new matchday programme will include a feature called 'Spireites on Tour', written by Dean Fidler, which will provide a guide for the next away game. Here is Dean's guide for Saturday's opening game of the season...

Opponents: Ebbsfleet United

Nickname: The Fleet

Ground: Kuflink Stadium

Capacity: 4,769 (seating 2.179)

Average Attendance in 2017/18: 1,572 in National Conference

The ground is in Northfleet. Leave the M25 at Junction 2 and take A2 towards Gillingham. Then take the B262 towards Stone/Greenhithe. At the end of B262, go right onto the A226 towards Northfleet & Gravesend. Keep on this road until you reach the ground on your left.

No parking at the ground for visiting fans. Street parking to be found on side roads off the  A226. Parking is available in car park at Ebbsfleet International, which costs £3. The car park is about a five-minute walk from the ground.

Northfleet Railway Station is the closest to the ground. Go straight out of the station and turn left at the top of the road. The ground can be then seen on your right.

Food and Drink
Fleet Lounge Bar inside the ground, which is popular with home and away fans.

About a ten-minute walk away is the George and Dragon near to Swanscombe Railway Station, which has a selection of up to six real ales and ciders, shows televised sports and serves food. It's in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide.

A similar length of walk, but in the opposite direction into Northfleet, will lead you to the Edinburgh Castle pub.

On the high street and close to Northfleet Railway Station is the aptly named Rose pub.
A number of fast food outlets are situated on the high street.

Swanscombe End Terrace is a good size with a capacity of just under 2,400 supporters. Fans can enjoy a good view of the playing action from the terrace. However, it is uncovered, so open to the elements.

At the opposite end is the Plough End, which is a seated stand. From a distance it looks quite picturesque as it has a wooded hill just behind it.

The new Main Stand is on one side and runs the full length of the pitch. It is unusual looking because the roof is quite high above the seating.

Stewarding is normally relaxed and the whole club is welcoming. The club shop is located inside the ground.

Have a safe journey!
