Spireites striker Ricky German, was among the goal scorers as Matlock Town came back from 2-0 down to defeat local rivals Buxton 3-2 at Silverlands last night.
Alistair Taylor and Danny Amos had given Buxton a two-goal lead with goals in the 59th and 70th minutes respectively, before German lead the Gladiators comeback with a superb individual effort.
The striker won the ball off Amos, before beating a defender and then placing the ball past goalkeeper Jan Budtz.
Further goals from Kieran Wallace and Joe Doyle-Charles completed the scoring in the closing stages of the game. Spireites defender Marshall Willock was an unused substitute.
