Crewe Alexandra Away Supporters Coach Information

Information from the Cheshire Constabulary, for Chesterfield supporters heading to Crewe Alexandra this Saturday, September 9.

From the M6

Exit at Junction 16 turn onto A500 West bound, signposted Crewe & Nantwich.

Continue to first Roundabout, turn right (3rd Exit) onto the A5020 signposted Crewe.
At the next roundabout take the 1st exit signposted Crewe.

Continue then along Weston Road to the next roundabout (The Rookery Wood PH)

Continue straight on passing Bargain Booze warehouse and Blue Bell BMW on the right.

At the next roundabout take the first exit towards Nantwich (A534).

Pass the Railway Station to the left and take next left into Gresty Road at the traffic lights, the ground and away turnstiles are ahead of you on the left.


Crewe Alexandra offers an easy day out for visiting supporters with parking, rail network, pubs and the ground all within walking distance.

Usually pubs will remain open to all, with no designated home/away premises.

Please note that the away sections of the ground do not supply alcohol.

There are also a number of reputable food outlets nearby.

Away Ticket Information

North Stand - The Whitby Morrison Ice Cream Van Stand, has one tier and houses the majority of away fans (capacity 1694).

All fixtures at Crewe require tickets to be purchased before entry, be they presold or purchased on the day.

Supporters should be encouraged, where possible, to buy their tickets on arrival at the stadium to reduce any delays or queues at the turnstiles.


Coaches should travel directly to the ground dropping off in Gresty Road near to the away turnstiles.

Coaches will be met by stewards where further instructions in relation to parking and return times will be given.

Parking for coaches is free and a local industrial estate is usually utilised.

However, please note that in some circumstances these instructions may change - but in any event coach drivers will be informed of the arrangements on their arrival.

Coaches will NOT be routinely escorted in or out by Police.

Transport Commissioners guidelines WILL be enforced.

Cars / Parking

Away supporters should park their private vehicles on Weston Road Industrial Estate.
