Loan Report

16 October 2017

We take a look at how our young Spireites have fared out on-loan this past weekend.

Centre-half Marshall Willock was cup tied for Kettering Town’s FA Cup fourth qualifying round away trip to Nantwich Town, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

Willock will be a frustrated spectator again, when the two sides meet in the replay which is played out this Tuesday at Latimer Park.

Meanwhile, Jack Brownell played the first 45 minutes for Evo-Stik South side, Sheffield FC, which saw them suffer a 3-0 away defeat to Spalding United.

Brownell, who already has three goals to his name at Sheffield, had a shot blocked in a crowded penalty area.

Spalding forward Jamie Jackson scored a hat-trick, which leaves Sheffield in the bottom three.

Sheffield will be hoping for a positive result in their next game when they host Corby Town this Saturday afternoon. Corby will be coming into the game off the back of a 2-1 home win against Carlton Town.
