In this week’s loan report we take a look at how young Spireites Ricky German and Marshall Willock fared at their respective clubs.
German now on-loan at Matlock Town came on at half time away at Witton Albion, whilst his side were losing 2-0.
His impact was immediate, after he fired a loose ball into the bottom corner to reduce the deficit, within three minutes of the restart.
The game ended 3-3, Matlock have now conceded three or more goals in their last four games. German will be hoping to start when Matlock host second bottom Halesowen Town in the Evo-Stik NPL Premier League on Tuesday evening.
Kettering Town suffered their second league defeat of the season, away to Dorchester Town, who won 4-1.
Goals from Billy Howes and Sam Lanahan gave the home side a 2-0 lead. Kettering pulled a goal back in the 67th minute when Rene Howe scored. David Jerrard and Mohammed Baghdadi added two more for Dorchester.
Willock was unfortunately sent off for Kettering in the 73rd minute after coming on as a substitute. Kettering travel to Daventry on Tuesday evening in the quarter-final of the Hillier Cup.
