Swindon Town Coach & Supporters Information

Information received from Wiltshire Police ahead of the match between Swindon Town and Chesterfield tomorrow, 3pm.

Directions

From the Midlands (M6/M5/M42) 

M5 exiting at Junction 11A, onto A417/A419 to Cirencester. A419 to Swindon continuing to Common Head Roundabout 4th exit towards Swindon Centre along Marlborough Road to Coate Roundabout.

Take the third exit towards Swindon along Queens Drive (dual carriageway) for two miles to Drakes Roundabout.  Leave at the first Exit into Fleming Way up to Magic Roundabout (5 mini Roundabouts). Then take the third exit into County Road (STFC on right), proceed for approximately 200 yards and turn at the first right into car park (by County Ground Hotel).

From North-East (M1/M40)

A420 from Oxford towards Swindon, up to Gablecross Roundabout, take the seconnd exit to White Hart Roundabout, then leave at the third exit into Oxford Road, across mini roundabout to Greenbridge Roundabout, then take the second exit into Drakes Way and continue to Drakes Roundabout. 

Take the third exit towards Swindon along Queens Drive (dual carriageway) for two miles to Drakes Roundabout.  Leave at the first Exit into Fleming Way up to Magic Roundabout (5 mini Roundabouts). Then take the third exit into County Road (STFC on right), proceed for approximately 200 yards and turn at the first right into car park (by County Ground Hotel).

From East/West (M4)

Exit M4 at Junction 15 A419 towards Swindon to Commonhead Roundabout, leave at the first exit into Marlborough Road towards Swindon.

Take the third exit towards Swindon along Queens Drive (dual carriageway) for two miles to Drakes Roundabout.  Leave at the first Exit into Fleming Way up to Magic Roundabout (5 mini Roundabouts). Then take the third exit into County Road (STFC on right), proceed for approximately 200 yards and turn at the first right into car park (by County Ground Hotel).

Parking

There are several car parks close to the ground, with match day parking also available at the Fire Station on Drove Road and St. Joseph’s Catholic College on Ocotal Way. The majority of on street parking around the ground is 'Residents Only' which is regularly patrolled by wardens.

Train Station and other useful information

For the benefit of travelling supporters, The County Ground is approximately 1 mile from the Swindon Railway Station, and a 6-minute walk from the town centre.

There are a variety of public houses/refreshment areas within 10 minutes of the ground.
