The Community Trust will once again be running their Half Term Spireites Soccer School next week, only this time with a slight difference - Wednesday 31st May will be completely FREE of charge to all participants.
In addition, the price for the four day football fest has been reduced to take in to account the free day, with the cost now being £40 for the full holiday.
There is also an extra incentive to book on to the Soccer School early, as the first 20 people to do so will receive a free Chesterfield FC away shirt.
Activities manager Michael Noon said: “Since the launch of the Soccer School, we’ve seen great numbers at St Mary’s Catholic High School and we want to reward the people who keep coming back and enjoying the sessions, as well as enabling everyone to try it out free of charge.
“The Spireites Soccer School is also an opportunity for us to recruit players for our new Emerging Talent Centre, as the coaches from the ETC will be working at the Soccer School.
“It creates a fantastic opportunity for participants not just to have fun, but if they want to take their football further, there is the potential to do that.
“In addition, we have our two partner Clubs, Chesterfield Junior Blues and Chesterfield Ladies, who are always looking to give kids the opportunity to play football.”
John Croot, chief executive of the Community Trust added: “We’re delighted to offer a free day on our Spireites Soccer School.
“We are committed to delivering accessible, enjoyable and inclusive sessions to all across North Derbyshire and hopefully more people will come down to get involved with us and with Chesterfield FC.”
