Long-serving employee Janice Kew has thanked fans for the cards and gifts she has received after taking early retirement.
Janice left her full-time role on Friday, but she will continue to organise the 50/50 draw on matchdays and provide cover in the office as and when required.
Reflecting on her 17 years at the club, Janice said: "I only came in initially to provide cover for someone and now, 17 years later, here I am!
"I’ve enjoyed my time at the club. I’ve particularly enjoyed meeting the fans and helping them. I’ve received many cards and gifts over the last few weeks from colleagues and fans and I’d like to thank everyone for their generosity.”
Janice’s role, which has included organising Spire Lotto and doing administration work for the commercial department, will be taken over by Stephen Kerry.
Thanking Janice for her loyal service, director & company secretary Ashley Carson said: “Janice has done a tremendous job for the club over many years and she deserves much praise for the job she has done. I hope that she enjoys a happy and healthy retirement and I would like to wish her all the very best for the future.”
