The funeral service for former Chesterfield player Albert 'Des' Collins will take place this week.
It will be held at the Chesterfield & District Crematorium in Brimington on Wednesday at 4.30pm.
Invited guests will attend a wake at the Proact Stadium after the service.
At the age of 94, Albert was the club's oldest surviving first-team player.
Albert came to Chesterfield during the Second World War after the club arranged local schoolboy trials, joining a junior side that produced the likes of Billy Linacre and Bill Whitaker.
He played an important role in the club's run to the semi-finals of the League North Cup in 1945.
