Former Chesterfield stars Tom Fenoughty and Keith Havenhand have confirmed that they will attend the event being staged to celebrate 150 years of supporting the Spireites.
The event, which has been organised by the Community Trust, is being held in the SBK Computers Spires Restaurant at the Proact on Friday, July 28 (7pm).
The history of the club will be told, based around some of the characters involved.
After each segment, a legend or legends in a particular category will be announced. Some of the winners will be selected by public polls or votes on the night.
Joining Fenoughty and Havenhand will be a number of other special guests and a 32-page programme will be produced. A commemorative coin/medal will also be issued to all attendees.
Fenoughty was signed from Sheffield United in 1969 and scored 15 goals in 101 appearances for the Spireites in a three-year spell.
Havenhand scored 58 goals in 176 league appearances for the Spireites before being sold to Derby County during the 1961/62 season.
Featuring a two-course meal, the cost of attending the event is just £20. Over half of the tickets have already been sold. They can be purchased from the HUB at the rear of the East Stand at the Proact.
