Junior Awards at the Proact

The Spireites Community Trust held their annual Junior Awards event recently, sponsored by iJump Trampoline Park, with youngsters who take part in all of their activities recognised for their participation, effort, enjoyment and teamwork throughout the year.

There were five nominees in each category, with 12 awards handed out. The SBK Computers Spires Restaurant at the Proact Stadium was packed with youngsters who have engaged so well with Trust activities over the past 12 months.

The winners were as follows:

After School Club Participant of the Year, sponsored by Europcar: Tomas Johnson

Most Improved Participant of the Year, sponsored by Lifehouse Church: Finley Wake

Premier League Primary Stars Participant of the Year, sponsored by the University of Derby: Laila Betton

Respect/Fairplay Award, sponsored by Derbyshire Constabulary: Kate Thompson

Spireites Soccer School Participant of the Year, sponsored by iJump Trampoline Park: Freddie Parkinson

Saturday Soccer School Participant of the Year, sponsored by JS Trophies: Alex Burton

Mini Spireites Participant of the Year, sponsored by Boolies: Freddy Farnsworth

Spireites Commitment Award, sponsored by Chester’s Den: Finley Hallam, Dylan Metcalfe & Oliver Lindie

Spireites Soccer Partner of the Year, sponsored by Chesterfield College: Mary Swanwick Community Primary School

Chester’s Young Fan of the Year, sponsored by One Health: Joseph Bowmer

Mike Noon, the Community Trust’s operations manager, was delighted with the success of the event. He added: "Congratulations to all of the participants who were nominated, who helped to make it a great year for the Trust. We look forward to seeing everyone again at our activities in the next 12 months!"
